BOER MEAT GOATS

Our Boer meat goats have their kids starting in May, as they are vulnerable to the cold and damp of early spring. Goats are natural browsers and the does efficiently convert nuisance brush and weeds into nourishing milk for their lively kids. Our goat herd receives a small amount of grain we blend for them here on the farm. Our market goats reach saleable size around a year of age and are typically sold live to customers, but processing can be arranged.
